We hope everyone has had a wonderful first few days at Lake Joy Elementary! The PTO has a full year planned and some pretty high goals to achieve...and we need your help!
Have you filled out and returned your yellow Volunteer Interest Assessment Form? This is the very first line of communication between you and the PTO Board. We want to get to know you as soon as possible...and find out the volunteer areas you are most interested in. If you are ready for a leadership position this year...just write us a little note to let us know that you are willing to serve as chairperson of one of our committees. You can send the forms back to your teacher or turn them in to the front office.
If you have NOT had a background check or volunteer training in the last 5 years...you will need to turn in the background form and attend volunteer training at LJE Tuesday, August 12th. Training times are 9:00 am or 5:30 pm.
